Hardon Helper Review: Does It Really Work?
Male enhancement pills can be divided into 2 categories:
- Slow acting supplements: These are supplements that you take everyday, usually first thing in the morning. They generally take a few weeks to kick in.
- Fast acting supplements: Those that you take as needed, often about 1 hour prior to sexual activity.
Hardon Helper can be placed into the fast-acting category.
Instead of waiting for the effects to build up in your system over time, you simply take a capsule about 2 hours prior to sexual activity and you’ll be good to go when the time is right.
At least that’s what they say…
But does it really work?
Well explore everything there is to know about this pill, and examine the potential side effects, ingredients, where to buy, and more throughout this review.

What is Hardon Helper?
Designed by a man named Dr. Seltzer, Hardon Helper is a 100% all natural herbal male enhancement pill that claims to help you achieve harder, sustained erections.
Dr. Seltzer is actually famous for developing a product called the Hangover Helper, one of the first ever hangover remedies to hit the market.
Comprised mostly of vitamins, antioxidants, electrolytes, and herbs, it was designed to help with that nasty “morning-after” feeling you get from a long night of drinking.
Dr. Seltzer ended up selling the company off to Rexall Sundown, and neutraceuticals company based out of Boca Raton, FL, back in 1994.
After this, he retired to South America and began experimenting with various herbal remedies that could help with erectile dysfunction issues.
After many years of testing and consulting with local herbalists, Hardon Helper was born.
What are the ingredients in Hardon Helper?
According to the official website and label, a single blue capsule of Dr. Seltzers Hardon Helper contains a 500 mg proprietary blend of all natural ingredients.
What’s really interesting is, they actually break down exactly how much of each ingredient is in the product, something that is relatively unheard of in this industry.
This formula includes the following:
- Epimedium leaf extract: 120 mg
- Panax Ginseng: 70 mg
- American Ginseng: 70 mg
- Wild Yam: 40 mg
- Wolfberry fruit: 40 mg
- Rou Cong Rong: 30 mg
- Chinese Raspberry: 30 mg
- Gordon Euryale Seed: 20 mg
- Schisandra fruit: 20 mg
- Poria: 15 mg
- Longan Aril: 30 mg
Some of these ingredients, such as Epimedium, Panax and American Ginseng, and Wolfberry fruit are common in male enhancement supplements.
Others are not.
I’m not going to go into any detail about how each of these ingredients works, you can always google them if you’re interested in learning the intricacies of each.
Why No Headaches?
The emphasize that it does NOT contain any chemicals or hidden ingredients, and won’t produce any headaches.
At first glance I wondered why they would even mention that, but then it hit me.
This is actually something that is very common with pills in this industry.
Many supplements, such as Stree Overlord and Powerzen Gold, worked really well when I tested them, but they always seemed to produce some weird side effects.
Those side effects included a big headache, nasal congestion, blurred vision, and flushing.
Well, it turns out the reason why they had these side effects is because they were putting the primary ingredient in Viagra, called Sildenafil, into their supplement in an effort to make it work really well.
Obviously there are some major implications and issues with this, the most notable being the fact that these side effects could prove deadly in men with heart and blood pressure problems.
Hardon Helper assures us that there are NO illegal ingredients, no chemicals, and no “viagra-like” compounds in their pills.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I take it?
The directions on the Hardon Helper packaging state that you should take 1 capsule 1 – 2 hours before sex, and drink plenty of water for best results. According to them, the effects last for days.
Can I take it with alcohol?
I actually spoke to one of the owners of Hardon Helper, and he informed me that it is possible to take it with alcohol. I haven’t tested it out yet, so I can’t confirm.
Does it have any side effects?
The official website states that there are no side effects, but as with any supplement it’s always possible. They do mention on the packaging that you should discontinue use and consult with your doctor if you experience any adverse effects.
Of course you should consult with your doctor before taking any supplement, including Hardon Helper.
Is it sold in stores?
As of this review, the only physical stores that it is sold in are Adam and Eve shops, which are basically sex shops.
I’m not sure if they have plans on expanding into other stores like CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, or gas stations, but my guess is as a company if they grow large enough they probably will.
So where can I buy it?
Their official website, www.AskDrSeltzer.com, lists the product for sale.
A one pill package costs close to $10, which is fairly expensive when compared to most products in this category.
Hardon Helper does offer some pretty substantial discounts, however.
For example, if you buy a 12 pack the total price is $71.88, which drops the price per per to $5.99 each down from $10.
If the product does indeed work as well as they say it does, I would certainly recommend buying it in larger quantities.
Is it shipped discreetly?
I was concerned about that as well, and I can happily report that it is shipped discreetly.
It basically says “Dr. Seltzer LLC” on the return address, so unless the mailman starts googling things he or she will have no ideas as to the contents of the package.
What do the reviews have to say?
Reviews are mixed, but good. In general, the sentiment is that it can indeed help you achieve a better erection. Whether or not the erection will be sustained is a matter of debate.
Will it grow my penis?
No, and it’s not intended to.
Is it FDA approved?
No, and it doesn’t need to be because it’s an herbal supplement. Herbal supplements do not fall under FDA regulation, but the product is made in an FDA approved facility.
My Test Results
I just tried Hardon Helper over the weekend, and I can tell you this actually works quite well.
I was definitely skeptical, as I am with most of these supplements, when it said “no headache” on the label.
Experience tells me that when it says that, usually you actually will get a HEADACHE.
This was not the case.
It seemed to take a few hours to fully kick in, but once it did, I had one of the hardest erections I can ever remember.
I’m talking MIND-BLOWING erections.
It also seemed to last several days, which I was not really expecting.
One thing I also noticed was there really wasn’t a headache, and I could tell that they aren’t pumping any illegal ingredients in this stuff.
It felt very all natural, and I definitely plan on trying it out again.
Overall Conclusion
After finally having tested Hardon Helper out, I can say with 100% certainty that it works!
I can also say with 100% certainty that they are NOT putting any illegal ingredients like sildenafil into it, which is what 90% of these so called “fast acting male enhancers” end up doing.
If you’re looking for a great erection pill to take as needed, I would highly recommend picking up some.
